Glossop SNT - School Inputs and Engagement in Glossop
PCSO Buller from the Glossop YET (Youth Engagement Team) attended the Duke of Norfolk Church of England Primary School, Royle Ave, Glossop this mornining, Friday 16th January.
The team had been invited by the school to complete an input on ‘Cyber Bullying’ and ‘Group Chats’ with 3 classes of their KS2 year 5/6 students (age 9-11 yrs).
We discussed with students from each class the following::-
There were some great questions and and lots of engagement by each class - well done all.
🚫 Bullying is never okay 🚫
PCSO Buller then completed a lunchtime drop-in session at St Philip Howard CVA, Sunlaws Street, Glossop also today, Friday 16th January.
This was the first visit of the new year to the school and these visits allow the team to engage and chat with the young people there, which then enables the Police to gain insight into their concerns, and challenges, as well as allowing them to see the Police in a more relaxed and friendly atmosphrere.
Once again a big thank you from the team to both of the headteachers and the staff from each school for allowing these important inputs and engagement visits today.
